1974 Eastern Zone Trophy Candle

1974 Eastern Zone Trophy Candle

Regular price $45.00

Once upon a showground in Pennsylvania, a rider — name forever lost to time — cantered into the ring with polished boots, pricked ears, and nerves of steel disguised as good posture. By the end of the day, they held the title of Eastern Zone Open Class D Singles Champion and this silver-plated bowl to prove it.

We can't tell you whether it was won with perfect lead changes or simply because someone else's horse bolted at the sight of a jump standard. We can tell you the prize has aged beautifully.

The engraving still rests proudly inside, though it now hides beneath a pool of golden beeswax. Only when the last wick sputters out will the glory of 1974 reappear — ambiance as a slow reveal.

Light it and you're not just burning a candle. You're burning for blue ribbons, polished tack, and the eternal truth that victory smells faintly of hay and triumph.

When the wax is gone, the bowl remains — ready to hold peppermints, spare braiding bands, or the smug satisfaction of having out-ridden your rivals.

8 inches across. Pewter. Soy wax. Four wood wicks. Scented with fir. One of a kind. Final sale.

⚠️ Bowl will be hot while burning. Please use common sense, unlike some of the competitors at the 1974 Eastern Zone.
